In this clip of I Love Lucy, we see the typical stereotype that men hold of women: stay at home and do all the housework. In this episode we see Ricky complaining how his gender role is more difficult and harder than Lucy's, he actually has to work and bring home the bread. In this episode, Lucy and Ricky switch gender roles and at the end of the day both realize that their gender roles are both hard and overwhelming, and Ricky begins to appreciate Lucy's role at home.
