Many children's books and Disney movies such as Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, etc. expose children to gender stereotype at a very young age. The stories illustrate stereotypical gender roles. They protray girls as princesses who are emotiona, weak and require a prince to come rescue them. Boys are strong and adventurous.
